Voice Note with words to hymn:
His Ways Are Higher
Words and Music by: Lisa A. Weidley
When facing trials, and tribulations,
And stormy waters to journey through,
You must remember all is not seen now,
Some plans are hidden from human view.
But He’ll never leave you, He won’t forsake you,
Jesus is your strength and shield.
He’s the Good Shepherd, He knows your name and
He knows exactly how you feel.
His love is greater than your greatest sorrows,
He knows your pain and He sees your wounds.
If you will seek Him, then you will find him,
He’ll hold you close and He’ll comfort you.
In the night when storm clouds threaten
It might seem like all is lost.
But if you listen, listen closely,
You will hear His still, small voice.
He’ll speak to your heart words of healing,
Calm your soul and give peace of mind.
He’ll chart your journey, make a way forward,
And lead you one step at a time.
His pow’r is greater than your greatest struggles,
Call on His name and He’ll give strength anew.
His light shines brighter in the midst of darkness,
He’ll guide your way and He’ll see you through.
While on earth our Savior taught us
His kingdom is not of this world.
So when you’re weary, look up to heaven
And of this truth you can be sure:
Our troubles here are momentary
Because Jesus has overcome.
He has given us His Spirit,
And in His name we will go on.
His way are higher than we can fathom,
His purpose greater than we can know.
But we can trust in His grace and mercy —
He’ll walk beside us till He takes us home.
Then we will see Him in all His glory,
His radiant splendor shining like the sun.
At peace forever, nothing can harm now
For in Christ the victory is won!
We’ll sing with angels His endless praises,
Fall at His feet before His holy throne.
We’ll walk by the river, joys never ceasing,
All is at rest in our eternal home.
Then we will see Him, and we will know Him,
We’ll live forever in His light.
Then we will see Him, and we will know Him,
What once was hidden, now clear and bright.
